Overview
Tenbin Gold (tGLD) is a liquid, on-chain gold token that gives holders the same spot economic exposure as holding gold itself. It is fully supported by USD stablecoins and gold contracts on CME via regulated institutional brokers, so its value tracks the spot price of gold. tGLD can be staked for stGLD to earn yield.
Staking
Staked Tenbin Gold (stGLD) is the yield-bearing form of tGLD. Stake tGLD to receive stGLD; its exchange rate only increases as the protocol distributes realized economic surplus back to stakers. That surplus is the yield earned on collateral plus the net return from hedging. Rewards reflect realized performance rather than projected returns, and vest gradually to smooth yield. Redeem stGLD for the underlying tGLD plus accrued rewards after a cooldown, or swap it instantly through onchain liquidity.

Tenbin's legal structure is designed around issuing reference-asset-denominated obligations and managing the related market exposure through institutional hedging arrangements. As reflected in counsel's proposed language, Tenbin tokenizes traditional asset exposure by issuing asset-denominated debt obligations and hedging the price risk created by that issuance through global institutional futures markets such as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), one of the deepest and most liquid venues for FX and commodities.
Tenbin's asset-holding structure is designed to be bankruptcy-remote. The structure is intended to segregate assets and related obligations from Tenbin Labs' operating company activities, helping ensure that assets supporting Tenbin Assets are held through a dedicated structure established for the benefit of the relevant asset program and its users.
Tenbin Assets are not available in all jurisdictions, including the United States. See our Terms of Use for additional details.
